The critically acclaimed Source mod by thechineseroom is being rebuilt by Robert Briscoe for a late 2010 release. Originally launched as a mod in 2008 and updated in 2009, Dear Esther has built a cult following amongst players and is recognised as a landmark work in experimental gaming.

It has been exhibited internationally, including E3 (Los Angeles, US) and the prestigious Ars Electronic exhibition (Linz, Aus). In 2009 it won Best World/Story at IndieCade.
